It has been our Lenten custom at Holy Apostles to keep watch through the night following our Maundy Thursday service up until our Good Friday service at 12 noon. It is possible to be present in prayer from your home. And, by so doing, we can continue the 3000-year-old tradition practiced by Jesus and the earliest apostles of praying the psalms.
Please join in committing to 30 minutes, or an hour if you are able, to pray the psalms in your home on Thursday, April 2, evening, through Friday, April 3, at noon as we watch and wait, and remember the many souls who have succumbed to the war in Iran, the Holy Land, Ukraine, to violence and oppression both in America and around the world.
