This December we will explore the story of Mary, Jesus’ mother, as well as the traditions that have evolved about her in our Christian faith. A focus on Mary is particularly resonant as we move into the new liturgical year in which we will read through the gospel of Luke which centers Mary in its nativity narrative. Over the course of the series we will cover the scriptural witness, Mary as an expression of the feminine divine, the history of Marian devotion, and the traditions of the rosary and icons of Mary. We hope you will join us in Mission House 1 at 10:00 am on the first four Sundays of December (through December 22). The series will be led by Mother Anna & Mother Susan.
