We invite you to join us in reading our first book selection of the summer — Brian McLaren’s Do I Stay Christian: A Guide for Doubters, the Disappointed, and the Disillusioned (2022). McLaren is an author and pastor associated with the emerging church movement. In this book he asks multiple challenging questions about the Church and how its history relates to Christian faith in modern times – questions that many of us wrestle with today, and for which there aren’t easy answers. He explores reasons to leave the faith, but then also offers varied and compelling reasons for staying.
