The Virtual Watch — Maundy Thursday to Good Friday
It has been our Lenten custom at Holy Apostles to keep watch through the night following our Maundy Thursday service up until our Good Friday service at 12 noon. It is possible to be present in prayer from where we are. And, by so doing, we can continue the 3000-year-old tradition practiced by Jesus and the earliest apostles of praying the psalms.
Please join in committing 30 minutes, or an hour if you are able, to praying the psalms the evening of Thursday, April 17 through noon on Friday, April 18. This is a time of watching and waiting, as we remember those who cry out against injustice and who have suffered violence and oppression around the world.
