Ecclesia Ministries & Holy Apostles

The Ecclesia Community will continue to meet at the Church of the Transfiguration (29th Street between Madison & Fifth Avenue) while limitations of gatherings continue in the city parks. While the sponsoring congregations are unable to resume their assembly lines to provide the bag lunches, the Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen has generously provided bag lunches to distribute in the meantime. Thank you HASK!

Congregants share the Eucharist with bread and grape juice that are packaged in individual, sealed containers distributed after the Eucharistic prayer.

The Rev. Seamus Campbell is providing the ongoing leadership of this hardy community, with support from the Ecumenical Outreach Partnership—a ministry of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas Church, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

Members of Holy Apostles are invited to join the weekly Ecclesia Eucharist at the Church of the Transfiguration—and we will look forward to resuming our own assembly line for bag lunches in due course.
