Since 2014, our friends at Investors Bank have been committed to fighting hunger in New York through their support of Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. Investors Bank has been a dedicated partner to us over the years through bringing volunteer groups to the Soup Kitchen for daily meal service, donating to support our meal programs, and sponsoring our annual Fast-a-Thon fundraiser.
“Investors Bank first partnered with Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen because we saw how many hungry and homeless New Yorkers needed our help. After volunteering and seeing first-hand the impact of the work the Soup Kitchen does, we’re even more inspired to give back and support their guests,” Jennifer L. Smith, Community Development Officer at Investors Bank shared.
Investors Bank’s recent donation of $10,000 to Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen will help us to continue providing a meal to anyone who needs one throughout Hunger Action Month and beyond. As our lines grew and more people experienced food insecurity in 2020 and 2021, Investors Bank remained dedicated to our mission, committed to helping us meet the need as it increased.
Jennifer L. Smith told us, “Throughout the past 18 months, the assistance that Holy Apostles provides has become more essential to help those in need get through the COVID-19 pandemic. We are proud to stand with Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen and support this organization as the demand for its services continues to grow.”
We’re grateful for our partners at Investors Bank and their commitment to fighting hunger in New York City. Their dedication to our mission and support of our programs allows us to do what we do every single day.
