Computer Classes are Back!

03.28.22 | Food for the Soul

At Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, we offer many programs to nourish the mind, body, and soul of our Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry guests. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve had to pause and adjust many of our programs to fit into the new world that we’re living in. One of the programs that has been “paused” since March 2020 is our computer classes.

Our computer classes are a time when guests can come into the Soup Kitchen and access a computer to check email, apply for jobs, communicate with family members, and more. We’re excited to announce that computer classes are now back on and our guests once again have access to our computers.

Our computer classes take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11AM to 1PM. Guests entering the Soup Kitchen for computer classes are required to be fully vaccinated and wear masks at all times.  Our computer class instructors are on site to help guests use the computers and to answer any questions that may come up. In the coming months, we hope to bring back resume and interview instructors who can help guests as they search and apply for jobs.

As we continue to revisit and adjust our programming in the wake of COVID-19, we’re excited to be able to welcome guests inside our building once again, starting with our computer classes.
