Sunday Supper is Back this September!

08.24.21 | Food for the Soul, News & Events

Before COVID-19 temporarily suspended our in-person meal service, Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen hosted a monthly Sunday Supper: an opportunity for those in our neighborhood to come together, bridging generations and building community over a meal.

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting our first Sunday Supper since February 2020 this September! Our next Sunday Supper will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 2PM through 4PM.

This return to indoor dining will be a celebration of our community and the resilience that all New Yorkers have shown over the past 18 months. We are thrilled to be able to open our doors again for indoor dining for Sunday Supper, and we hope to resume other indoor, in-person activities soon.

In accordance with New York City requirements for indoor dining and restaurants, all those attending our Sunday Supper will be required to provide proof of vaccination upon entry to the Soup Kitchen. Acceptable forms of proof of vaccination include your CDC-issued vaccine card, a photo of your CDC-issued vaccine card, or your New York State Excelsior Pass.

If you’d like to help us build community over our shared love of food, please join us in volunteering at the Soup Kitchen for Sunday Supper. Whether you’re a trained chef or looking for weekend volunteering opportunities, you can join our movement to bring families together over the dinner table at Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. You can sign up to volunteer on VolunteerHub.

We hope to see you for a free meal, fellowship, and fine conversion. No RSVP is required and vegetarian options are available.
