Young Artists Launch Fundraiser for Holy Apostles

08.26.20 | Food for the Soul, News & Events

Sally Studio and the Metropolitan Association of Fine Arts have long been friends of Holy Apostles. In 2018, Sally Studio’s students held a young artists art exhibition to raise funds for the soup kitchen by donating and selling paintings. Over $3,000 of proceeds from that event was subsequently donated to the Soup Kitchen.

Now, during these difficult times, the young artists are organizing again to support Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen and those it serves. CiCi Fader, a high school senior from Jericho Long Island who was instrumental in the prior art sale, has organized young artists from the Sally Studio Art Center, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Association of Fine Arts, to come together and make and sell high-quality, printed-art tote bags to raise money for the soup kitchen.

To participate in this campaign, CiCi has arranged for each student to commit to selling these artistic tote bags for $15 apiece, with 100% of proceeds being donated to Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen. Please consider purchasing one or more of these stylish bags for your own use and help make a difference, one bag at a time. They also make wonderful gifts for family, friends, and teachers.

To purchase a bag, please contact CiCi Fader at [email protected].
